Our Hopes After the 2025 SONA
From watching you State of the Nation Address 2025, I was compelled to write, not as a critic but a polite concerned citizen of this country and a voice for many Filipinos. In your speech you outlined a vision for a " Bagong Pilipinas" and highlighted the progress of your administration has made. We heard about new infrastructure projects, expansion of social services and a lot of projects that will help to grow our economy. It is good to hear the government's plans to help improve our country, especially when it comes to things like agriculture and health care.
We dream of the future you mentioned, not expensive rice and more affordable health services.
Many Filipinos continue to suffer from high prices on basic items. We also need to provide more support for our farmers and fishermen, whose implementation is important for our food supply.People can feel these kinds of concrete actions in their daily lives, and we will be keeping a close eye on these promises to make sure they come true for every Filipinos.
Now we wish that the action of the government will equal the spoken words in the SONA. The key is not just initiating new projects; it is also about ensuring that they are done properly and fairly. We believe that real progress is when everyone is in and everyone benefits from the growth of our country. We’re going to continue to talk about and share information on these issues. We still have faith that our country can be a better space for all Filipinos
