Looking Back, Moving Forward

During the fourth quarter in ICT, one of the most important lessons we learned was about creating a Sitemap. At first, I thought it was just a simple diagram, but I later realized that a sitemap is very important in planning a website. It shows the structure of the pages and how they are connected to each other. Learning this helped me understand how websites are organized before they are actually designed.

Through this lesson, I learned how to arrange information clearly and logically. Creating a sitemap requires careful thinking because each page must be placed in the correct order and connected properly. This activity improved my planning and organization skills. It also showed me that building a website is not only about design but also about structure and user experience.

Our ICT activities also helped me develop my creativity and digital skills. Making a sitemap allowed me to think like a web designer who plans how users will navigate a website. It made me realize how important it is to make information easy to find and understand. This lesson also connects to my interest in layout and design because both require creativity and good organization.

Overall, the fourth quarter in ICT was a meaningful learning experience for me. Learning about sitemaps helped me understand the basic foundation of website development and improved my problem-solving skills. These lessons will be useful in the future, especially as technology continues to become an important part of education and different careers.
